Farm Themed Toddler Birthday Party
Toddler parties are usually a very relaxed affair. Toddlers are too young for most
party games and there are a lot of parents and other adults that need to be
provided for. At this party we set up an area for the children to climb around and
play while the parents and talked.
About 20 straw bales were set up in a small maze with pop-up tents and tunnels
that the client already had.
The invitations helped set the
theme before the party started.
A three dimensional barn was
constructed and folded flat to fit
in the envelope. Inside the barn,
a insert showing a little girl in a
hay stack had the party details.
The invitation also included
small magnets that were
custom printed on a home
printer that could be used to
post the insert on the fridge.
The outside of the envelope
was printed with a barn as well.
That design was repeated on
the cake.
The Decorations were very simple, a few balloons in primary colors, and plates
and napkins to match the theme. We mixed plain plates with more expensive
patterned ones to help set the theme and added farm stickers to some of the
plain cups.
The goody bags were
inexpensive denim bags
with adhesive felt letters
stuck on to spell the
kids names. They had
an inflatable farm
animal, a few farm
theme blocks broken up
from a set, a red or blue
bandanna, and some
stickers.
