Hollywood themed Sweet Sixteen Dance
This event was held at a community center and was designed for 75-100
guests. The birthday girl wanted a theme that was elegant and special.
We chose a Hollywood theme and the colors of black, gold, and silver.
Th invitations asked everyone to wear those colors and the birthday girl
wore a red dress to stand out. We used linked balloon arches to create a
dance floor in half of the room.
We used more balloons, Hollywood themed centerpieces, and plastic
tablecloths custom stamped with stars on the tables.
Stamping the
tablecloths was an
inexpensive way to
dress up the tables
and allowed us to
add to the theme of
the room.
We used stock
invitations to
match the theme
but added our
own custom ticket
printed on black
card stock with
gold foil. This
added to the
elegance of the
dance and
allowed us to
admit only those
invited.
We used gold and
silver tulle on the
cake and food
tables along with
more balloons and
gold and silver
stars. We added
red balloons to the
bouquet on the cake
table to represent
the birthday girl.
